Cost: $25 per person
In this 2 1/2-hour workshop, students will:
- Gain a clear understanding of what yoga is and is not
- Discuss the many benefits of yoga practice
- Practice gentle yoga by moving into simple postures suitable for all adults, any age or physical condition
- Practice the “centering” and “breathing” concepts of yoga
- Experience deep relaxation under the guidance of the yoga teacher
Students should dress in comfortable clothing that allows movement (blue jeans are not recommended).
Bring a note pad and pen, and a yoga or exercise mat if you have one. Some will be available for use.
Optional: A guided relaxation CD to help with home relaxation practice will be available to students for $12 each (payable to the instructor).
